Landscape garden

The whole property “Podere Vasalone“ has a size of 15 acres: meadows and forest, olive trees and wine hills.

5 acres landscape garden are immediately connected to Casa Vasalone, garden areas change with nature. The spacious property invites you for manifold retreats and recreation, sunbath and shadows under trees, for children’s activities and adventure.

From the terrace at the front of the house you can walk down the steps through a small laurel alley, just slightly downhill and straight ahead, then you will get to the oak meadow: a very beautiful circular and calm place in the meadow under four huge old oaks with a wide view over the lake.

At the west of the villa the area slightly mounts up. By tufa steps you get to the first meadow with the atrium, where you can find much space for games and sunbath. Upside there is a circular linden place with a view over the lake.

At the highest point of the spacious landscape garden there is the panorama place with a wonderful view over the whole maar and the lake.

On the area upside the house there is - for our guests only - a limited campside. Nearby the terraced small plateaus with lake view there is also an outdoor shower (cold), a toilet and a washbasin.

In the valley, just some 15 mins from the house, there is a mountain well with very fine and delicious water.
