Casa Vasalone

The Lake Bolsena is located in Italy’s region Latio, approximately 100 km north of Rome, an almost circular deep maar lake with a width of about 12 km. Around the lake you can see lush ridges. The vegetation is dominated by wine hills, olive groves and deciduous forests. Within the hills north west of the lake there is Gradoli, the small and friendly wine farmer village.

At the back of one of these hills, in about 1 km distance from the village, Casa Vasalone is located within a 15 acre sized manor. Entering the property’s private entrance the way to the the villa Casa Vasalone leads you along wine hills and cypresses.

Until the 1970ies Casalone was the summer residence of the former land holder, built in the style of a classic countryside villa: large rooms, high ceilings, Terrazzo floors, a wide corridor. One wall at the upper floor reveals a fresco of past times. Carefully, the villa was restored and equipped.

Laurel trees accompany you to the front terrace facing eastwards, from which you can enjoy sunset and the Lake Bolsena.

Welcome and enter Casa Vasalone!
